Biddulph mining history book launch

A new book by a local author is being launched on Saturday 19th February at Biddulph Library from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Small Mines of the Biddulph Valley 1800-1980 by Jonathan Fryer tells the story of 50 small mines, their workers and their owners. Publications from the Biddulph and District Genealogy and Historical Society will also be on sale.
