Care Today (Children's Services) are recruiting Residential Care Workers to join our homes.

Our welcoming homes provide 24/7 care for young people within the home, the home is for children all facing a variety of their own challenges, and we are looking for enthusiastic and caring people to help make a difference to these children.

During your 6-month probation period, you will be enrolled in a NVQ 3 Diploma in residential care, if you do not already hold one. This will be fully funded and you will be given plenty of time and support to complete However, you must be self-motivated to complete the qualification.

Ideally the person applying will have:-

  • Availability and ability to work on a rota that involves 24/7 working
  • Good communication and listening skills
  • Able and willing to do sleep in shifts/waking nights
  • Organisational skills
  • Driving licence

Care Today are a family run Independent provider of Residential homes for children of varying ages, along with our sister company Parallel Parents Fostering who have been rated Ofsted Outstanding since 2010.

Our focus is on developing our staff and we have many opportunities for people to develop their career within the company, in the following areas

Sleepovers are paid at 60.00 per sleep / Waking night paid at 15.00 per hour

We also pay sleepovers whilst on holiday (based on avg sleeps from previous 52 weeks)

Bonus for completing L3 diploma

Overtime paid for above contractual hours worked
