Biddulph residents have been encouraged to report any local wildlife they might spot in and around the town.

Reporting sightings of local wildlife helps to give a better idea of all the different kinds of wildlife that are present in Biddulph.

With this in mind, Biddulph Town Council has encouraged people to report their sightings, whether they are bats, owls or rare flowers.

A council spokesperson said: "We are having lots of discussions about wildlife mapping within the town.

"Don't forget to report what you see.

"It's really important to make sure that sightings of bats, owls, rare flowers, etc. are logged.

"This makes sure we have a really good knowledge of what's in our town."

Sightings can be reported to Staffordshire Wildlife Trust.
