Applications have opened for businesses to move into the Biddulph Grange Country Park visitor centre.

Biddulph Nub News reported previously how Biddulph Town Council is looking for tenants to give a new lease of life to the centre.

Councillors discussed their ideas on what should be done with the building at a recent meeting.

Now the council has invited businesses to get in touch with them and discuss moving into the centre.

A council spokesperson said: "Do you feel you could run a business from the Country Park Visitor Centre?

"In August 2020, Biddulph Town Council took over the management of the Visitor Centre at Biddulph Grange Country Park. The land surrounding the Visitor Centre remains under the control of Staffordshire Moorlands District Council (SMDC), who aim to transfer the management of the site to Staffordshire Wildlife Trust.

"The Town Council has a five-year lease to manage the Visitor Centre and aspires, during this time, to ensure that the building is in a good condition and provides a base for a successful local business or businesses.

"If you have any questions or would like further information please do call us on 01782 498480 or email [email protected]."
