A Biddulph DIY store welcomed a slightly unusual set of customers recently - a BBC camera crew filming part of a new series of one of their shows!

The camera crew visited the Matador DIY store on Tunstall Road on Thursday as part of the filming for an episode of the second series of their show 'Brickies'.

A spokesperson for the store told Nub News about the visit.

They said: "They were filming for the second series of Brickies on BBC Three. They popped in to film the cast buying tools."

The first series of the show is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer.

It tells the story of life on a building site and all the banter, fallouts and friendships that come with it.

The first series follows the young bricklayers around as they work on housing development sites in Stoke-on-Trent, Northampton, Nether Heage and Ripley, as well as following them through their personal lives and challenges.

We can't wait to see what they get up to in Biddulph for series 2!
