Today's Biddulph Artisan Market has been cancelled due to high winds, a month after returning following the Coronavirus pandemic.
Biddulph Nub News reported last month how the market returned to the town last month, after taking eight months off during the pandemic.
The market usually takes place on the first Friday of every month from 9am - 3pm, but like many things, this was put to a stop as the virus forced the country to go into lockdown.
Last month however, the market returned at its usual time with visitors and traders being welcomed to browse and sell outside Sainsbury's in the town centre.
Now though, today's market has once again been called off, but due to the weather, rather than the virus.
With high winds being forecast in the town for the day, the difficult decision was taken to cancel the market.
Biddulph Town Council is now looking forward to welcoming visitors and traders back to the market next month.
A spokesperson said: "Sadly we have had to take the decision to cancel todays Artisan Market due to high winds.
"You will still be able to purchase fresh fish and pies from the front of the Town Hall and come to chat to the ladies at the Biddulph Book Exchange about their exciting projects too.
"We look forward to seeing you all next month!"
