A Biddulph artist has encouraged people to come along and view her work after she was given an exhibition at the Victoria Centre.

Two of local artist Ruth Breen's paintings have recently been on display at the Victoria Centre's Open Art Exhibition on Station Road.

And they must have liked her work, as she has now been given a whole exhibition to display her paintings!

The exhibition will take place on Saturdays from 10am - 1pm from 13th - 27th August, and anyone has been welcomed to come along and view the artwork.

We reported previously how Ruth found her passion for painting at age 60 and has already found success, with her art being displayed in several places including Biddulph's Victoria Centre and the Silk House in Leek.

Ruth also previously had the idea to brighten up Biddulph's High Street by offering her paintings to be displayed in the windows of local businesses.
