A 27-year-old Biddulph woman is still bailed 12 days after being arrested for attempted murder following a stabbing incident, police say.

Biddulph Nub News reported previously how police attended a property on Kemnay Avenue, in Fegg Hayes on Friday, 24th September.

The victim, a woman who reportedly also lives in Biddulph, was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital with stab injuries.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said at the time: "A woman has been arrested after another woman was stabbed in Fegg Hayes.

"Police were called at 10.25pm on Friday to reports that a woman had been stabbed at a property.

"The woman was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital for treatment.

"A 27-year-old woman, from Biddulph, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

"She has been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries."

In an update today, police told Nub News that the 27-year-old woman is still on bail as enquiries continue to be made, 12 days after the stabbing incident on 24th September.

A spokesperson said today: "A 27-year-old woman has been given conditional police bail pending further investigation."
