Biddulph dog runs off before being found seemingly ordering a pint at the pub

By Jack Lenton 17th Jul 2022

Staff at a Biddulph pub were treated to a visit from an unexpected customer this weekend - a dog that had ran off from its owner before appearing to order a drink at the bar!

Local resident Sarah Anne lost her dog Willow on Saturday and asked for help to find it, saying: "Please keep an eye out for Willow, been gone from shepherd street about 15 minutes ago, a few of us are driving around but no luck. Extremely friendly and approachable."

However, Willow soon popped up in an unexpected location - The Crown and Cushion pub on Biddulph High Street.

Customers at the pub informed Sarah and she was soon able to collect Willow.

In the amusing picture below, Willow can be seen standing with her front paws on the bar as if she was ordering a drink!

Sarah added: "She wandered in the Crown and Cushion and went straight to the bar. She obviously wanted a pint!"
