A Biddulph hairdresser is offering free haircuts to children who can't afford to pay during half-term.
The generous offer comes during a national campaign to end child food poverty, which has seen eateries around the country offering free food to kids who's parents may be struggling to feed them.
Now, Jennifer Hyde and The Hair Team on Biddulph High Street have put their own twist on the campaign, offering free haircuts.
Explaining why she made the offer, Jennifer said she wanted to do her bit after Biddulph "really supported me in my first year of business."
She said: "During half term, I will be offering free haircuts to school children (under 16) to those who genuinely can't afford it.
"It's hard enough for some parents to feed their children, let alone afford hair cuts.
"It's a busy week next week but I do have a limited number of slots available so please do send me a message.
"It's purely anonymous, nothing will be mentioned in front of the children, you don't have to explain your situation, just reach out to me if I can help you.
"We all must do our bit and this town has really supported me in my first year of business."
Biddulph Nub News reported yesterday how Biddulph Fish Bar is offering free meals to kids during the holidays as part of the campaign.
It comes after a motion to extend free schools meals over the school holidays was voted down by MPs.
Moorlands MP Karen Bradley was one of 322 MPs to vote against the motion backed by England and Manchester United footballer Marcus Rashford, who's campaign to end child food poverty recently saw him awarded with an MBE.
Since then, communities around the country have rallied together in a bid to ensure no child goes hungry during the holidays, with many local councils also backing the pledge to feed disadvantaged kids.
Staffordshire County Council is promised a £15 voucher to the families of up to 18,000 children, which can be used in major supermarkets on food or essential supplies for October half term.
Free or discounted food schemes in Biddulph are also run through the town's food banks, Biddulph Youth and Community Zone, and the Green Tree House Craft Café.
