All doses of the Covid-19 vaccine will be available to Staffordshire people at a series of walk-in clinics during November.
The clinics will be offering both doses of the vaccine to residents aged 12 and over, along with booster jabs to eligible groups, without the need to book an appointment.
The county council is supporting local healthcare partners to deliver a targeted vaccination programme and help ensure getting vaccinated is convenient for all residents.
Cabinet Support Member for Public Health and Integrated Care, Dr Johnny McMahon, said: "Walk-in vaccine clinics make it even easier to get vaccinated, so it's great that more residents will be able to get the doses of the vaccine they need at these upcoming clinics.
"I can't stress enough the importance of getting vaccinated and protected against this awful virus as soon as possible. Getting vaccinated is the best way for residents to protect themselves against Covid-19 now and against its long-term effects."
Upcoming Staffordshire walk-in clinics are taking place at:
- Tamworth Mercia Fire Station, 4 November, 10.30am – 2.30pm
- Rugeley Fire Station, 8 November, 10.30am – 2.30pm
- Burton Community Centre, 9 and 26 November, 10.30am – 2.30pm
