Biddulph nursery raises hundreds for Ukraine with walk to Biddulph Grange Gardens

By Jack Lenton 24th Mar 2022

Children, staff and parents at a Biddulph nursery raised hundreds of pounds for Ukraine by taking part in a fundraising walk this week.

The toddlers, along with staff at the nursery and some parents, walked the 1.2 miles from Tiny Toez Nursery on Albert Street to Biddulph Grange Gardens on Monday (21st March).

By completing the fundraising walk they were able to raise an amazing £255.47, which will be used to provide vital aid to Ukraine following the Russian invasion.

The children were encouraged to dress in the yellow and blue of the Ukraine flags for the day to show their support, and Ukraine flags were also taken along for the walk.

After the walk, some well-deserved food was enjoyed at the Biddulph Grange Gardens café.
