Biddulph residents have been asked to share their thoughts on a local bus route which is funded by the town council.

The 93 bus runs between 09:30am and 1:30pm from Monday to Friday, through Biddulph and Biddulph Moor from the Rose and Crown to Kingsfield Crescent.

The route is operated by D&G and has been funded by Biddulph Town Council ever since funding for the route was withdrawn by Staffordshire Moorlands District Council.

Now residents have been asked to fill out a short survey giving their thoughts on the route.

A spokesperson for Biddulph Town Council said: "We are reviewing the use of the 93 bus service and whether there are other options we could provide, if funding is available.

"Please take the opportunity to answer this quick survey, which will help inform decision-making. Thank you!

"The service is currently operated by D&G Bus and funded by Biddulph Town Council. The Town Council wants to understand local need to ensure future commissioning is appropriate."
