Did you make getting in shape your New Year's resolution this year?

If you did, a new running course starting soon in Biddulph may be able to help.

Biddulph Running Club's 'New 2 Running' course is aimed at absolute beginners, and will take people from zero to running a 5k over six weeks.

The course includes "a fully supported and structured training plan" developed by the running club's leaders and starts this Sunday (9th January).

People can register on Sunday at the club's New 2 Running event at Biddulph Valley Leisure Centre from 10am - 12pm.

The course will then start on Tuesday 11th January at the leisure centre at 6:30pm, and will run every Tuesday and Thursday for six weeks.
