All kinds of weird and wonderful scarecrows have been decorating Biddulph as part of this year's ever popular scarecrow competition, and now the winners have been revealed!

The scarecrows have been on display since 14th October as part of the annual competition run by Biddulph Youth and Community Zone.

People can create their most weird and wonderful scarecrows and display them outside their homes.

The judges at Biddulph Youth and Community Zone then pick the best scarecrows and decide on the winners.

The theme for this year's competition was 'A Splash of Colour'.

The winner in the Houses category, pictured on the left, was Rango by Jenson Windle.

And the winner in the Schools and Nurseries category, pictured on the right, was Uppsie-Cycle by Reach for the Stars Knypersley.

Congratulations to both winners and a huge well done to everyone else who took part!

A spokesperson for the Zone said: "Congratulations to our Splash of Colour winners!

"Thank you to everyone who took the time to enter our Splash of Colour Scarecrow competition this year!

"We will be delivering prizes and certificates next week."
