An 'energy costs café' is being held in Biddulph this month with the aim of helping local residents and businesses to deal with the rising costs of heating, electricity and fuel.
The café is taking place at Biddulph Town Hall on the High Street, on Saturday 19th March from 10am - 1pm.
It is a free event with various local organisations in attendance, including the local branch of Citizen's Advice, the local food bank and Biddulph Town Council. There will also be free refreshments and giveaways.
A spokesperson for the café said: "Are you worried about the increase in fuel prices?
"Concerned about heating or eating?
"Do you need help to manage your budget?
"Are you a carer or are you, or someone you know, vulnerable?
"Are you interested in making simple changes in your home (private or association) to save some money?
"You are not alone."
If you would like more information ahead of the café, contact Biddulph Town Council at [email protected] or call 01782 498480.
