Volunteers are wanted in Biddulph to help with the rollout of the Coronavirus vaccine.
The call for volunteers has been made by Support Staffordshire, who have appealed for help in assisting with the vaccination process in the Moorlands.
They need volunteers in Biddulph, and also in Leek, and those who apply do not need any medical experience.
Those who sign up will take on the role of Vaccine Support Volunteer, and will work alongside NHS staff teams at local vaccine sites.
The roles are designed to make the delivery of the vaccine more efficient in the local area, and to help NHS workers who are taking on this huge challenge.
A spokesperson for Support Staffordshire said: "Support Staffordshire is helping to recruit volunteers to help with the programme of community vaccination in the Moorlands by assisting with some unskilled tasks.
"We are therefore reaching out to individuals, community groups and voluntary organisations, to come forward if they would like to help with the community vaccination programme.
"We are looking for people with a caring and organised temperament, and there are particular practical considerations and commitments too, so please read the role description carefully before stepping forward."
In Biddulph, carers, runners and stewards are expected to be needed. To find out more about these roles, visit the Support Staffordshire website here.
If you are interested, contact Zoe Crozier at Support Staffordshire by emailing [email protected] and give your contact details, and information about the roles and availability that you would like to offer.
