Biddulph woman arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following stabbing incident

A 27-year-old Biddulph woman has been released on conditional bail after being arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

The arrest came after police attended a property on Kemnay Avenue, in Fegg Hayes on Friday, 24th September.

The victim, a woman who reportedly also lives in Biddulph, was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital with stab injuries.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police said: "A woman has been arrested after another woman was stabbed in Fegg Hayes.

"Police were called at 10.25pm on Friday to reports that a woman had been stabbed at a property.

"The woman was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital for treatment.

"A 27-year-old woman, from Biddulph, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

"She has been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries."
