Bestselling authors Ruth Ware and Jane Fallon will take part in a special online book chat being organised by Staffordshire County Council's Libraries service.

The chat is being hosted by journalist Sarah Shaffi and will give book-lovers the chance to hear from both authors and ask questions of their own.

Novelist and television producer Jane Fallon, is partners with Ricky Gervais, has sold over one million books in the UK, with ten books making the Sunday Times top list. Ruth Ware is an author of bestselling psychological crime thrillers.

The event will be hosted on Staffordshire Libraries' Facebook Book Chat Group tomorrow (Tuesday 24th November) at 7.30pm.

The event is free and will be streamed via Microsoft Teams. Anyone can join the libraries Book Chat Group and sign up for the event. Details on how to join are available on the libraries Facebook page.

Victoria Wilson, Cabinet Member for Communities and Culture at Staffordshire County Council said: ""Our libraries book chat group is one of many new online activities we have introduced to help people to stay connected through their love of reading.

"We're all really excited about this next event. Getting not just one bestselling author but getting two was a real coup for the team.

"The group now has over 260 members with monthly author events. It's open to everyone and I'd encourage all book-lovers to join the group."

The Book Chat Group event is being organised by Staffordshire County Council's Libraries and Arts service, the Reading Agency, Vintage Press and Penguin Random House.
