On Friday 12th August 2022, the Biddulph in Bloom volunteers organised a "Come along for a chat" afternoon at Biddulph Town Hall to raise funds for their organisation who do so much to enhance the town centre and surrounding areas of Biddulph.

Many of the ladies were on hand to dispense cups of tea and coffee together with a choice of delicious homemade cakes, in return for a voluntary donation to their funds. 

The event was well attended and during the course of the afternoon their funds were swollen by the presentation of cheques from two local groups.

Biddulph Male voice choir presented a cheque for £150 as a result of a collection made at a recent concert they held at St. Lawrence Church, Biddulph, and a further cheque for £500 was presented on behalf of the Rotary Club.

As Biddulph in Bloom is a totally voluntary organisation these donations were welcomed, and will go a long way to help their efforts to keep "Biddulph in Bloom".
