Children have been told to self-isolate after a Biddulph school recorded a positive case of Coronavirus for a fourth time.
Woodhouse Academy got in touch with contacts of the affected student after being informed of the positive case on Sunday.
Biddulph Nub News reported in November that more students had to self isolate following a positive test in one of the school's Year 7 pupils.
Positive cases were also recorded at the school on two other occasions earlier in 2020.
In a letter to parents following the latest positive test, Woodhouse Academy Principal Deborah Farr said: "This morning, we have been notified by a parent that one of our pupils has received a positive Covid-19 test result.
"As a result, we have been advised by the Staffordshire Covid-19 local outbreak control team to instruct a number of pupils to self-isolate, following their last point of contact, in line with national guidance. This is being done with the intention of keeping the community as safe as possible.
"While these circumstances will cause concern for everybody within our community, you do not need to request a test unless you are showing symptoms. Please continue to use the lateral flow devices as instructed."
