Police have issued a closure order at a Biddulph address due to anti-social behaviour.
Officers say the order was issued today (Friday, 18th December), with the address being an issue to local residents "for some time".
The address must now remain closed for three months, and anybody who enters the address during this time could be arrested.
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team said: "This afternoon Friday 18th December 2020 officers from the Local Policing Team at Biddulph have served a closure order on an address in Biddulph.
"The location has been an issue for Anti Social Behaviour for some time and this is a clear message to others that if you cause issues in your community you will be held to account.
"The location will now be closed for three months and any person entering will be subject to arrest."
Chief Inspector Mark Thorley commented: "Another stance taken against those who's actions impact heavily on the community.
"We do not take this action lightly but we do place the needs of the community over the issues caused by a few who do not heed our advice and support."
The closure order states: "On 18th December 2020 at the North Staffordshire Magistrates' Court sitting at North Staffordshire Justice Centre, The Court House, Ryeccroft, Newcastle-under-Lyme, a closure order under section 80 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 was granted.
"From the granting of this order persons are prohibited from remaining and returning to and entering the premises.
"A person commits an offence if they remain on or enter this premises and can be arrested. If found guilty of an offence they are liable to imprisonment and/or a fine.
"The premises has been sealed and no further entry will be allowed.
"The occupier will therefore be required to find alternative accomodation.
"Any persons entering the premises without the permission of Staffordshire Police or the North Staffordshire Justice Centre commits an offence and can be arrested."
