Coronavirus weekly update: One new Moorlands death after two weeks without fatalities

One new Coronavirus death has been recorded in the Staffordshire Moorlands, after two weeks in a row without any deaths, according to the latest weekly figures.
The death comes after no new deaths were recorded in last week's figures, as well as those from the week before.
The latest data states that one person from the Moorlands died due to Coronavirus in the week ending Friday, July 31st.
It means that the number of people who have died from Coronavirus in the Moorlands has now risen to 79.
Of the 79 deaths, 55 have taken place in hospitals, 16 have occurred in care homes, three have occurred at home, with three at other communal establishments, one in a hospice, and one elsewhere.
Coronavirus has been involved in around 11% of all deaths in the Moorlands since the start of the year, with 711 people dying from all causes in the district so far in 2020.
There has also been one new case of the virus found in the Moorlands, bringing the total number of cases to 382, as of Saturday, August 8th.
On the same date, there were 3,902 confirmed cases in all of Staffordshire, excluding Stoke-on-Trent.
