Residents and visitors to Biddulph can now begin dining out in style, as a number of local restaurants, pubs and cafés take part in the government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme, which begins today (Monday, 3rd August).
In a bid to boost the hospitality industry following the Coronavirus lockdown, the unprecedented government scheme will allow people who dine out from Monday to Wednesday during August to benefit from 50% off the price of their meals, up to the value of £10 a head, with the government reimbursing the restaurant the remaining 50 per cent.
As the scheme gets underway, many local businesses in Biddulph and the surrounding area are participating. These include:
- Roti Restaurant on High Street
- Reubens American Italian on High Street
- The Roaring Meg on Pennine Way
- The Gardeners Arms on Brown Lees Road
- The Ash Inn on Mow Cop Road
- The Bradley Green Wetherspoons on High Street
- The Top Pub on Hill Top
- The Talbot on Grange Road
- Brindley's Lock on Silverstone Crescent
