Even more days of free parking have been offered at Biddulph's Wharf Road car park in order to aid the town's delivery of the Coronavirus vaccine.
Biddulph Nub News reported previously how free parking was initially offered at the car park on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th January in an effort to make it easier for the town's residents to get vaccinated at the nearby town hall.
However, this offer was then extended as parking was made free on Tuesday 19th, Wednesday 20th, Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd January to support people attending for their jabs.
And it has been announced today (Tuesday) that free parking at Wharf Road has now been extended to even more days.
People will be able to park for free at Wharf Road every Thursday from 1.30pm, and every Saturday all day.
This offer will remain in place until the end of February.
The usual parking regulations will still apply on other days, and residents have been asked to park carefully or they may be issued with a penalty charge.
A spokesperson for Biddulph Town Council has since called the latest offer "good news for those using the Wharf Road car park on vaccination days".
Councillor Sybil Ralphs, Leader of Staffordshire Moorlands District Council, said: "It's great news that these surgeries in Biddulph have already starting vaccinating Moorlands residents as the programme continues to roll out across the country and we see the numbers of people receiving their jabs continue to rise.
"The vaccine is one of the ways out of this pandemic so we're delighted to be able to support our health partners, the Town Council and local residents by waiving charges on our car park on vaccination days."
