Sue Ashman from Biddulph U3A invited anyone who is interested to come along and try out the group.
She said: "The Biddulph U3A Timetable for September has now been finalised and we are looking forward to starting all our groups.
"U3A groups and classes are open to anyone no longer in full time employment, and Biddulph U3A would like to extend an invitation to anyone who may be interested to look through what's on offer and find out more.
"This can be done in a number of ways. Many groups meet at Lund House, on the corner of Well Street and Lawton Street, but some meet at the library and others at the Leisure Centre or the Bowling Green."
A spokesperson for Biddulph U3A added: "Make new friends and learn a new skill or keep fit and active enjoying a range of sporting activities.
"There are 40+ groups, most of which meet weekly, ranging from arts and crafts to languages, music, games and sport plus general interest trips and holidays.
"Anyone no longer in full-time employment is welcome to join Biddulph U3A."
