Police say the theft took place on Tower Hill Road

Police have appealed for information following the theft of a car in Biddulph.

Officers say the theft took place between the afternoon of Saturday, 2nd January and the morning of Sunday, 3rd January, on Tower Hill Road.

A Ford Focus car was taken from a driveway on the road, with police saying it was stolen through an "unknown means".

The car is white in colour and has a registration number beginning with GN0.

Police have now asked anyone who may have information to get in touch with them.

PCSO Stephen Sherratt, of Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team, said: "In between 16:30 hrs on 02/01/2021 and 08:30 hrs on 03/01/2021 unknown offenders have approached a secure motor vehicle.

"The vehicle is a Ford Focus with VRN GN0****.

"It is white in colour and offenders have stolen it from a driveway, by unknown means.

"If you have seen anything suspicious in the area, please call Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident 093 of 03/01/2021."
