There are now only a few days to go until a band which includes a former Biddulph mayor as one of its members will play a fundraising gig at Knypersley Cricket Club.

'Still Standing', a local band which counts ex-mayor of Biddulph Cllr John Jones as one of its members, are playing a gig at the local cricket club this Saturday (27th August).

All proceeds from the gig will be donated to Christ Church, Biddulph Moor.

There will be a bit of rock 'n' roll, R 'n' B, and northern soul, and everyone has been invited to come along and enjoy the evening.

Tickets are £10 and the event will take place from 8 'til late.

There will also be food and a fully stocked bar!

Get your tickets from Councils Connect at Biddulph Town Hall or ring 0774 777 5203 or 07969 830357.
