Gallery: Biddulph artist's 'vibrant and happy' paintings go on display at Victoria Centre

A Biddulph artist's work has gone on display at a local exhibition and there are plenty of chances to see it over the next few days.

Local artist Ruth Breen's first solo exhibition is now available to view at the Victoria Centre.

The first viewing was on Saturday (August 13th) but there are five more chances to view it before the end of the month.

Veronica Brown from the Victoria Centre said: "We have a new exhibition at The Victoria Centre starting this Saturday by local artist Ruth Breen.

"Ruth describes her work as Animal Pop Art and Floral Pop Art. She mixes an Impressionist style with Pop Art."

"People have described her paintings as vibrant and that they make them smile and feel happy.

"Please come along and support Ruth with her first solo exhibition here at the centre."

The upcoming viewing dates and times are:

  • Thursday 18th 9.00am - 12 noon
  • Saturday 20th 1.30pm - 3.30pm
  • Wednesday 24th 9.00am - 12 noon
  • Thursday 25th 9.00am - 12 noon
  • Saturday 27th 1.30pm - 3.30pm

However people have been advices to call 01782 513218 to check as these times could alter.
