Biddulph scarecrow competition is back for another year, and this time residents have been decorating the town with their best spooky scarecrows!

The theme for this year's competition is 'Spooktacular' and people were encouraged to design scarecrows with a spooky theme.

The scarecrows could be displayed as early as 22nd October as part of people's Halloween decorations for the competition that runs until tomorrow (Friday 29th October).

This competition is open to homes, schools and businesses.

The competition is organised every year by Biddulph Youth and Community Zone. The judging is taking place this week and the winners will be announced soon!

Take a look through our gallery above and decide for yourself which scarecrows are the best - and the spookiest!

When the winners are announced we will be sure to post an update here on Nub News.
