It is set to be the hottest weekend in some time for Biddulph.

The heatwave looks to continue throughout the weekend as we could see some of the highest temperatures of the year for the town.

The Met Office are predicting that temperatures today could be as high as a sizzling 28 degrees Celsius - maybe even as hot as Ibiza!

And the heat is only set to continue throughout Saturday and Sunday, with temperatures hovering at around 23 - 25 degrees Celsius for most of the weekend.

However, that heat may turn volatile next week, with thunderstorms forecast on Monday and Tuesday, with heavy showers following later in the week.
