With Biddulph receiving a considerable amount of snow over the last few days, many will be wondering about potential disruptions to their travel plans or commutes.
With this in mind, it's useful to know which of the town's streets are being gritted and where the town's grit bins are, so you can plan to drive on the roads which are likely to be safest in these conditions.
And Biddulph residents can find this out by using this interactive gritting map.
Scroll over to Biddulph on the map to see which routes are being gritted.
Blue lines indicate the "primary gritting network", and purple lines indicate roads which are gritted in "severe weather only."
Also, blue stars and triangles indicate grit bins and salt piles which are re-filled throughout the season, and red stars and triangles indicate grit bins and salt piles which are filled in the pre-season only.
Staffordshire County Council says its gritting crews are working round the clock to keep the county on the move.
David Williams, Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport at Staffordshire County Council said: "Last night and this morning saw another busy shift for our gritting crews, right across the county. We have been well prepared throughout winter and with our fleet of more than 40 gritters, our crews continue to help keep the county moving.
"As always, I would ask that drivers take extra care when on the roads and allow more time for their journeys if they have to travel. Remember that grit also needs traffic to travel over it to work effectively, which means on a quieter day like today, snow and ice can be lying for some time."
He added: "Our gritting teams are working hard through these conditions to keep Staffordshire moving but we are reminding people to drive with extra care.
"We are expecting the cold weather to continue throughout this week with icy roads and the chance of snow. Our fleet of 40 gritters have been busy over the last few nights and will continue to work hard throughout this week with more sub-zero temperatures forecast.
People should only drive if absolutely necessary – we want people to have a safe and enjoyable remainder of the holiday period."
