Our job of the week is a role for an electrical installation and commissioning engineer which boasts an attractive salary.

The successful applicant must be willing to travel to sites in the UK and will have controls experience or PLC experience.

The hiring company is a technology leader in Smart Grid, Demand Response and Frequency Response services.

Job duties include:

- Electrical Installation of company's electrical metering, control hardware and software equipment.

- Installing or the installation of electrical equipment which includes Controls or PLC installations.

- Commissioning of company's monitoring metering and control site system.

- Interfacing company's site-based hardware to electrical loads.

- Installing electrical software and hardware

- Auditing industrial and commercial premises for energy efficiency schemes.

- Installing and commissioning electrical energy metering control panels.

- Report writing following electricity installations.

Applicants must have

• Electrical craft certificate
• Electrical Installation and Commissioning skills
• Be a qualified electrician or electrical engineer with installation and controls experience.
• Knowledge of commercial and industrial buildings
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• A willingness to travel
