Man arrested for spitting at staff in Biddulph Sainsbury's

Moorlands police officers have arrested a 25-year-old man for spitting at a staff member in Biddulph's Sainsbury's supermarket.

Police called the behaviour "unacceptable" and say the man has now been charged, and will appear in court.

The incident took place yesterday evening (Saturday, 31st October).

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team informed the public of the incident.

They said: "Earlier this evening a 25 year old male was arrested by local officers for spitting at a staff member at Sainsburys in Biddulph.

"This behaviour is unacceptable and the male has now been charged to court and will be dealt with accordingly."
