With the nickname 'The Garden Town of Staffordshire', it is well known that Biddulph and its surrounding countryside is home to plenty of amazing wildlife.
But did you know that Biddulph is also home to its own bird and wildlife rescue centre?
The centre is run voluntarily by local woman Nicola Allen Hill, who looks after local injured or lost birds and other wildlife that are in need of care.
Some of Nicola's recent patients have included lost parrots, cockerels, owls, pigeons and sparrows.
Nicola also posts regular updates on the animals in her care and their condition on her Facebook group, Biddulph Wild Bird and Wildlife Rescue, which can be found here.
Now Nicola's friend, Suvi Harriman, has set up a fundraiser on her behalf with the aim of paying for the essentials needed to look after the injured birds.
Suvi said: "I decided to set up the page to try to help raise vital funds for Biddulph Wild Bird and Wildlife rescue.
"Nicola Allen Hill set up this amazing rescue and has fully committed to look after these beautiful animals.
"She does not get any funding and is relying on donations to be able to buy all the essentials for the orphaned and injured birds and other wildlife she cares for.
"Please donate what you can, your donations are making a huge difference."
So far the people of Biddulph have shown their generosity by donating £200 towards the local centre.
