Moorlands MP Karen Bradley has discussed her recent visit to a Biddulph nursery.

The local MP visited the Happy Hours nursery in Biddulph and read the children a story following World Book Day.

She thanked all those who were there for the visit, saying: "It was lovely to visit Happy Hours Nursery in Biddulph recently.

"I heard how the children dressed up as a character from their favourite book for World Book Day and brought the book in with them.

"As their 'secret story teller' for the week, I read the children the story 'The Singing Mermaid'.

"Thank you to everyone for the lovely visit."
