Planning permission has been granted to construct a new set of garages in Brown Edge which will be home to a classic car collection.
The application was submitted to Staffordshire Moorlands District Council by a Mr NJ Mountford and a Mrs S Mountford to construct the garages next to their home on Clay Lake Farm, Breach Road.
A workshop will also be part of the construction which will be located near the large, four bedroomed home.
A statement prepared on behalf of the applicants by Rob Duncan Planning Consultancy states: "The proposed outbuilding in this case will be used as a garage for the applicant's classic car collection, along with a small domestic workshop which are both uses that are incidental to the enjoyment of this large, four bedroomed dwellinghouse."
The plans were approved this week by Staffordshire Moorlands District Council's planning officers.
In a report, the council's officers concluded: "The proposal having been considered against the relevant criteria and limitations is found to be compliant and therefore a certificate of lawful development can be granted."
