Plans have been submitted to convert an agricultural building just outside Biddulph into a four-bedroom house.

The plans, which were submitted to Staffordshire Moorlands District Council by a Mr T Senn, seek permission for a change of use for a farm building on Cloud Park Farm, Dial Lane.

A statement prepared as part of the application explains more about the plans.

Discussing the building that would be converted, it says: "The barn consists of a single storey gabled brick building with a profile sheet roof. The barn is situated just outside the farmyard enclosure of Cloud Park Farm with tracked access from the farm courtyard.

"The farm lies on the private track Gosberryhole Lane and is accessed by a well maintained entrance off Dial Lane with excellent visibility east and west; the entrance serves the existing farmhouse and agricultural buildings and the neighbouring farmstead."

A diagram submitted as part of the plans shows that the building would include four bedrooms, a kitchen and dining area, a lounge, an office, two parking spaces and a patio.

Asking for the plans to be approved, it concludes: "In light of the above responses to the parameters set out in the legislation, it is reasonable to expect that sufficient information has been proved to the Local Planning Authority and this Determination for prior approval application will be approved."
