Police appeal after cement mixer vandalised in Biddulph

Police have asked anyone with information or CCTV footage to contact them after a cement mixer was damaged in Biddulph.

The incident took place at Greenfield, near Springfield Road, in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).

Police say that the cement mixer's straps were cut, and a male was seen on a nearby grass area at the time of the incident.

Staffordshire Police have now asked anyone with information to contact them.

PCSO Clare Sartin, of Staffordshire Police's Biddulph team, said: "In the early hours on Thursday 10th September some straps were cut on a cement mixer on Greenfield, Biddulph.

"A male was seen at the time on the grass area opposite Greenfield off Springfield Road.

"If anybody in the area has CCTV or saw anything suspicious please contact Staffordshire police quoting incident number 0036 from 10th September."
