Police appeal after man arrested for drug driving in serious collision just outside Biddulph

Officers are appealing for information following a serious collision just outside Biddulph.
At around 8.40pm on Friday 16 July, officers were called to Chapel Street in Mow Cop, which is around one mile west of Biddulph, following reports of a collision involving a white KSR Moto Motorbike and a blue Nissan Pulsar.
The motorcyclist, a 29-year-old man, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
He remains in a stable condition in hospital.
A 28-year-old man from Newport was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and driving without due care and attention.
He has since been released under investigation.
