Police appeal after suspected deliberate house fire near Biddulph

Officers are appealing for information after a house fire was reported near Biddulph.

The fire took place back in August, however, officers only put out the appeal yesterday (Monday 25th October).

At around midnight on Saturday 21 August, it is believed that a fire started at a property on Handley Drive, Brindley Ford.

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service attended the incident and extinguished the fire, where no-one was hurt.

It is believed that the fire was started deliberately.

Anyone with any information, particularly between 11:40pm on 24 August and 12:20am on 25 August, should message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 842 of 24 August, or call 101.
