Police appeal to find 'unknown offender' after burglary on Biddulph street

Police are searching for an "unknown offender" following a burglary that took place in Biddulph yesterday (Tuesday 16th August).

Officers say the burglary took place between 10am and 5pm on Smithy Lane.

The culprit forced entry into one of the properties on the street before making off with a number of items.

Biddulph PCSO Laura Peacock asked anyone with information to contact Staffordshire Police.

She said: "On the 16th August 2022 between 10:00 hrs and 17:00 hrs a burglary has taken place on Smithy Lane in Biddulph where an unknown offender has forced entry via the front door and removed items from the property.

"If anyone has any information or seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area during those times please contact 101 and quote log number 583 16th August."
