Police have today (Wednesday 17th November) issued a closure order to a Biddulph property they said was "known for antisocial behaviour".

Police announced this evening that they have closed the property in an effort to "reassure the local community".

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team said: "This evening a closure order has been granted for a property in Biddulph known for Anti Social Behaviour.

"Partner agencies and local officers have worked together to secure a successful result and reassure the local community."

However, they did not reveal where in Biddulph the property is.

The closure order states: "On 17th November 2021 at North Staffordshire Justice Centre sitting at The Court House, Ryecroft, Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 2AA a closure order under section 80 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 was granted."
