Police name man charged with vandalising Biddulph Wetherspoons windows

A man has been charged following an incident of criminal damage at Biddulph's branch of Wetherspoons this week.

Biddulph Nub News reported yesterday how several windows at a Biddulph pub have been left in a damaged state, as can be seen in the image above.

Now police have provided more information about the incident and charged a local resident with criminal damage.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police told Nub News: "A man has been charged following criminal damage Wetherspoons yesterday morning (Thursday 9 December).

"Police were called at 4.50am to reports windows had been damaged at the pub on High Street, Biddulph.

"Mark Heath, 34, of Tunstall Road, Biddulph, has been charged with two counts of criminal damage.

"He is due to appear at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on 4 January 2022."
