Police name man found dead at Biddulph home

Her Majesty's Coroner's Office in Stoke-on-Trent is appealing for help to trace the family of a man who has died.

Biddulph Nub News reported last week how police said the death of a man in Biddulph was not being treated as suspicious.

In an update today (Monday 14th March), police have named the man as John McConnell, aged 58.

He was found deceased at his home address in Biddulph on Thursday 10 March.

Officers attended his home on Lyndhurst Drive on Thursday 10th March just after 8am. An ambulance also later attended.

Paramedics then confirmed that the man was deceased, and police have since said that his death is believed to be non-suspicious.

Anyone with information can contact Staffordshire Police on 101.

Any family members or friends of John McConnell, or persons who can provide information as to possible relatives, are asked to contact Stoke-on-Trent Coroner's Office via email using [email protected]
