Police seize vehicle for having no insurance in Biddulph

Police seized a vehicle for allegedly having no insurance in Biddulph last night.

Officers from the Moorlands neighbourhood policing team informed residents just after 8pm yesterday evening (Tuesday, 1st December).

It came with a warning that the Moorlands "is not the area to drive a vehicle with defects, no insurance, or no MOT".

Police have also reminded residents that ensuring their vehicle is safe for the road is the driver's responsibility.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team said: "Officers have seized a vehicle for no insurance in Biddulph.

"The Moorlands is not the area to drive a vehicle with defects, no insurance, or no MOT.

"It's the drivers responsibility to ensure the car is safe to drive on the road.

"Keeping you, other road users, and pedestrians safe."
