Police warn residents of suspicious man "trying car doors" in Biddulph

Biddulph residents have been warned of a suspicious man who was "possibly trying car doors" and walking up and down people's driveways.

Police say the incident occurred yesterday (Sunday, 1st November) at 9.05pm, and in the Carriage Drive area of Biddulph.

Officers have now warned the public to be vigilant and make sure their vehicles are secured.

PCSO Laura Peacock, of Staffordshire Police, said: "On the 1st November at 9.05pm a suspicious male has been in the area of Carriage Drive in Biddulph.

"The male is described as a white male, wearing a dark jacket with his hood up, dark trousers, black and white trainers and burgundy socks.

"The male was going in and out of driveways possibly trying car doors.

"Please be vigilant and make sure you secure your vehicles.

"If you see anyone acting suspiciously please contact 101."
