Police warning over faulty temporary traffic lights in Biddulph

Police have issued a warning to motorists in Biddulph to take extra care due to a faulty set of temporary traffic lights in the town.

Officers say the traffic lights are at the junction of St Johns Road and Moorland Road in Biddulph.

In an update provided just after 11.30am this morning (Tuesday, 27th July), officers said that the traffic lights were not currently operating, but assured residents that technicians were on their way to fix the issue.

A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police's Moorlands team said: "Please take care and use extra caution near to the temporary traffic lights at St Johns Road/Moorland Road in Biddulph.

"Traffic lights are not operating and technicians are en route."
