Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. At least, that's what a Biddulph cafe has said after deciding to offer free breakfast to all under 16s to help them have the energy to start the day.

Suki's Biddulph, based on the High Street, will be offering free breakfasts for all children seven days a week, starting this Monday (2nd May).

All children will be offered a free bowl of cereal or toast until 9am.

The cafe says it wants to help kids get their metabolism going and start off their day right.

A spokesperson said: "They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. That's why it's so important that those tiny bodies are having a good breakfast before they start their day to get that metabolism kicking in.

"We know sometimes it can be difficult to get your children to eat at home but they will eat elsewhere. Sound familiar? We also know, now more than ever, that times are so hard at the minute, and where we can help, we will!

"So, Suki's are now offering a free bowl of cereal or toast for all children under the age of 16. Seven days a week. No charge. No minimum spend. We will have a selection of cereals using whole milk (if you have special requirements feel free to bring this with you and we can use our cereal). And also toast available."

The breakfast will offer one portion per child accompanied by an adult and is available for sit-in only. Anyone with allergies is asked to consult a member of staff.
