When is each Biddulph pub reopening and can you book? - Everything we know so far

With the roadmap out of lockdown slowly but surely moving along, it's safe to say that people in Biddulph and the rest of the country are desperate to get out and have some fun as restrictions ease.

One of the most anticipated aspects of the return to normal life will be returning to local pubs to enjoy a pint with family and friends.

But what have Biddulph's pubs said about their reopening plans - which pubs have announced their reopening dates, and can you book?

We have contacted Biddulph pubs to ask them exactly that so you can know when and where you might be able to enjoy a drink over the next few months.

If the current roadmap goes ahead as planned, from 12 April up to six people will be able to meet friends or family in beer gardens or to eat outside.

Indoor seating is set to restart from 17 May, providing specific Covid-19 conditions are met.

Here are the pubs we know about so far...

The Roaring Meg

The Roaring Meg told us: "We are waiting here a bit more from the government to confirm everything before we take bookings, but we are working at the moment towards opening on 12th April, we are trying to create more sheltered areas to the outdoors and praying for sun!"

The Bradley Green (Wetherspoons)

The re-opening of The Bradley Green on Biddulph High Street will take place on 12th April, but it will operate with a reduced menu and shorter days.

From Sunday to Thursday the pub will be open from 9am until 9pm, and on Friday and Saturday the pubs will stay open until 10pm.

The reduced menu will feature breakfast, burgers, pizza, deli deals, fish and chips and "British classics".

Customers will be able to order and pay through the Wetherspoons app, although staff will be able to take orders and payment at the table from those without the app.

Biddulph On Tap

On Tap told us: "Up to now we are planning to open the beer garden on Wednesday 14th April."

In February the High Street bar posted a picture of an outdoor area that customers will be able to enjoy a drink in once it is ready to open.

The Talbot

The Talbot has said: "We can now announce that we plan to open our doors again, in line with the latest government guidance, on the 17th May. We can't wait to welcome you back to our beautiful pub this Summer."

You can book a table at The Talbot online by clicking here.

The Gardeners Arms

The Gardeners Arms are undergoing a change of landlords on 25th April, but still have plans to reopen, saying: "Don't fear, the pub will have new landlords and they will hopefully be opening on the 17th May."

Old Sam's

Old Sam's told us: "We will be opening 12 noon till 9pm Sunday to Thursday and 12 noon till 10pm Friday and Saturday weather permitting on a first come basis, from Monday 12th April outside in the beer garden as per government guidelines."

The Swan

The Swan told us: "We don't have any reopening plans yet - we operate as a night club so we are not really sure when we can reopen."

What about other Biddulph pubs?
